I have started my journey into 3D printing. Here is some information on what I’ve learned so far:

Modeling: LightWave 3D

Converters:

Logging Prints:

https://www.3dprintlog.com/
or 3D Printer Log Sheet (Cura)
Here are some of the objects I have created with my printer:

Darth Vader Pen Holder
White Elephant
Filament Holder
USB dongle holder

Reference:

1/4″ nut inset – hexagon 11.2mm wide

1/4″ bolt – 6.2mm diameter (3.1mm radius)

USB hole size –

SD card hole size

#8 wood screw –

#6 wood screw – Shaft 3.5 diameter (1.75mm radius)
– Head is 3mm high and 6.2 mm wide

Shrinking allowance on Sovol 01: 0.15-0.2mm, but honestly, I’ve been running things really close lately and they work out. There may be virtually no shrinkage with certain filaments.

Infill amount and type (All 3DP)

Issues with printing:

Bed Adhesion – Solutions: Hairspray or gluestick
